Giselle Monzón

Giselle Monzón is a graphic designer born in Villa Clara, Cuba (1979) and trained at the Cuban Institute of Design (ISDI). Her work is closely linked to the Cuban cultural sector, with special attention to poster design for film, theatre and the visuals arts. Major awards include the Coral Grand Prize (2x) in the Poster category at the Havana Film Festival, and as a finalist in different International Design Biennials.

Giselle’s work has been shown at solo and collective exhibitions in Cuba, Switzerland, France, Germany and the United States. She has taught design at the ISDi and at the Faculty of Communication at University of Havana. Giselle currently works as a freelancer.
